ACAACAAsset Creation Algorithm

For prospective licensees and buyers

Reviewing the Asset Creation Algorithm spreadsheet model

Richard Shumaker’s ACA is an extensive spreadsheet model that follows a proposed sequence of transactions, reserve balances, unit quantities, and pricing rules. He welcomes inquiries about licensing or acquiring the work.

Who is this opportunity for?

The intended audience is an organization or individual able to assess a financial spreadsheet model and negotiate rights to use or acquire it. Financial modeling specialists, software businesses, and prospective licensees may bring different expertise to that review.

The first question is whether the model’s assumptions and proposed use warrant further investigation. A licensing inquiry is not a commitment to buy.

What is available for discussion?

The extensive ACA spreadsheet and a draft agreement addressing licensing and participation. The materials to be supplied, permitted uses, scope of rights, price, and any continuing participation would be established through discussion and written terms.

See the model overview.

Questions to examine before proceeding

A useful review separates the spreadsheet’s internal calculations from conclusions about its practical application.

  1. Reproduce the calculations. Trace the opening inputs, unit quantities, pricing increments, and reserve movements.
  2. Identify every assumption. Examine who would enter each transaction, what rights they would receive, and whether demand and funding are assumed.
  3. Assess the proposed use. Examine the accounting, legal, operational, and market questions relevant to any intended implementation.
  4. Define the rights and terms. Establish what is being licensed or acquired and what obligations would continue.

Modeled balances do not by themselves establish realizable market value, accounting recognition, available financing, or investment returns. ACA requires independent professional review before real-world use. This page does not offer units or solicit investment.
